Wind on the cheeks, view from a mountain top, loud bird song, airless laughter, whisper of a wet forest, gaze of the stars, rhythm of a beating heart… light, imagination, freedom.

These are the atoms that make up my heart and my mind.

I am Iga, a Polish photographer currently living and working in Tuscany, Italy. I graduated from Journalism in Middlesex University of London and Graphic Design in Florence Design Academy. Four years ago my interest in art and design, led me to becoming a photographer working on commercial as well as personal projects.

When I close my eyes and set my imagination free, I see unspoiled nature, peaceful yet powerful, magical and ethereal, an ideal backdrop for photographic exploration of the connection between people and the Earth.

I am inspired by romantic darkness and flowing body form. Dressing  my subjects in natural light and rich earthy colours, I create dreamy, transcendent images. 

The life of my photographs starts in the subconsious and flourishes when I see them printed. They are carefully thought out and executed. I am like a painter who selects her light, subject and colours, who studies her images and processes them with care.

My artworks are pieces of me and photography is my way of sharing beauty with the world.
